The Business Idea Reality Check
1:1 Business Idea Assessment
Will Anyone Actually Pay Me for This?
If that question has been sitting in the back of your mind for months or even years, I'll go find out for you. Seven days of real research, a straight answer, and a plan for what to do next.
Ideas usually get stuck in one of three places. The price is wrong. The buyer isn't who you pictured. Or people love the idea and still don't reach for their wallet.
All three can be checked, plus a number of other details that only look obvious once somebody points them out. But so far, you've only been trying to check them alone, at night, after everything else in your day.

for the first four clients.
The price goes up after that.
You'll get a questionnaire form after you book. It is very detailed, so you may need to plan sufficient time ahead to fill it out.
I take up to four clients a month, because I do all the research myself.

You May Know This Feeling
You registered a business, made a logo, maybe even printed the cards. And then you stopped.
You have had several versions of the idea and never fully committed to one of them.
Things have worked a little, but never as much as you hoped, for longer than you would like to admit.
You have spent a career being rewarded for knowing things, but nobody taught you how to package and sell what you know.
You keep researching because research feels safer than making a decision.
You're doubling down on a hobby or passion that feels like your soul's calling.
You know you are capable, but you do not know which direction deserves your next investment.
Being good at what you want to do for yourself and knowing how to sell it are two separate skills. Most of us only ever focused on the first one, and now we have to figure out how to start and run a business alone in our forties or fifties.
So don't think you've failed at this because no one showed you how it works.
You Know Your Subject.
That Was Never the Problem.
The problem is that nobody has ever looked at your idea from the outside and told you the truth about it. Your friends say it sounds great. Your sister says go for it. Your husband asks how much it's going to cost. None of them know, and none of them are going to go find out.
So you've been carrying the whole question by yourself, and it's gotten heavy.
This is a question that can actually be answered. Somebody just has to go do the digging and answer it for you.
I Already Asked ChatGPT
Most women tell me they did. Some got a lot of encouragement. Some got a list of risks they closed the tab on.
Either way, here you are, still looking. That's the part worth paying attention to. Whatever it told you, it didn't settle the question, or you wouldn't be reading this page.
It's a good tool and I use it every day. Here's why it didn't close the gap.
It only knows what you've told it. Even with a good memory of you, it has the version you chose to type. The thing you'd only say out loud at minute forty of a real conversation doesn't get typed, and that thing is usually the one that matters.
It can't hear what you leave out. You talk for ten minutes about your qualifications and never mention a single customer. You light up describing one part of the work and go flat on the part you say you want to build the business around. I notice that. A chat window can't.
You decide when it stops arguing with you. A good tool will push back, and some are better at it than others. But you can insist, or reword the question, or open a fresh chat and start over. Sooner or later it comes around. And that’s not good for you.
Nobody is on the hook for the answer. If AI is wrong, nothing happens to it. If I'm wrong, I have to sit on a call and look you in the eye, and my reputation is the only thing this business is built on.
There's one more thing, and I'd rather say it than pretend.
You could run every one of these checks yourself. Ad libraries, archived pricing pages, booking calendars, review dates. It's all public, and a good tool will help you get through it. You've also had this idea for two years and a whole life to live alongside it. That's the reason people hire people.
What I'll Find Out For You
While you get on with your life, I go look at the world around your idea.
THE MARKET
Who is already doing this, and what they charge for it.
Whether those people are actually making money or just posting a lot.
Whether the space is crowded, thin, gaining momentum right now, or for some reason is shrinking.
THE BUYER
YOUR OFFER
IF IT FITS YOU
YOUR RISKS
Who they really are, which is often not who you pictured.
What they're already spending money on instead.
Where they can be found, and what reaching them would cost you in time or money.
What you could charge, based on what people in this market actually pay.
How to describe it so somebody understands it in one line.
Whether a free AI tool could already do the core of what you're planning to sell, and if so, what would still be worth paying you for.
Whether the actual day-to-day work fits the time and energy you really have, not the time and energy you wish you had.
Anything that turns up along the way that you'd need to confirm with a licensed professional, tax, licensing, that kind of thing, flagged clearly rather than left for you to stumble into later.
Which assumption the whole thing is resting on.
What to test first, cheaply, before you spend real money.
That's the list I start with. It has never been the list I finish with. Every idea turns up things nobody thought to look for. Those are usually the most valuable part of the report, and I can't tell you in advance what yours will say. That's rather the point of going to look.
What lands in your inbox:
A written answer with a clear direction: Pursue, Adjust, or Wait.
The reasoning, so you can push back if you disagree.
Up to two other directions if this one doesn't hold up.
Three things to do next, in order.
A simple thirty-day starting point.
How long is it?
As long as it needs to be.
Business ideas are different.
Some sit in crowded markets and take more digging, some don't.
I write up what I found and I don't pad it to look impressive.
Write your business plan.
Build your website
Interview your customers or run ads.
Give legal, tax, medical, or other licensed-profession advice.
What I don't do:
I won't hand you a revenue projection, a guess dressed up as a forecast. What you will get is the math: sell this many, at this price, over this stretch of time, and here's what that comes to, based on real prices from real competitors. That's arithmetic on numbers I found, not a promise about what you'll earn.
How It Actually Works
We talk again for half an hour
Bring your questions, including the ones that start with "but what about." I'll answer as straight as I can.
We talk for
an hour
I will have read your form first, so you don't have to repeat yourself and waste time on the call. We talk about what a form can't ask. What you know because you lived it. What you're good at that feels too ordinary to charge for, which is usually the valuable part. And what you could honestly stand doing for the next three years on the energy you actually have.
I go away and research for up to seven days
Nothing is required of you here. No homework, no check-ins, no progress updates cluttering your inbox. If something turns up that only you can answer, I'll send one short email. Otherwise you'll hear from me when it's finished.
You fill out the form
You’ll tell me about your background, what you've already tried, what time and money you can invest, and what you're really trying to decide.
Yes, it's long, and that's on purpose. Most women tell me the form alone made things clearer before we ever spoke.
You get the written answer
A clear direction, why I landed there, what I looked at, and what still needs testing.
Three Ways This Can End
Whatever I find, you leave with a direction. That's the whole point.
PURSUE
The idea holds up. You get the strongest next steps, what to watch out for, and what to test first.
ADJUST
The core holds up and one piece is sitting in the wrong place. Often it's the buyer, the price, or the way you've been describing it. You'll get the specific change and the evidence that points to it.
WAIT
Right now, the evidence doesn't support spending more of your finances, time, and energy on this version. You get my reasoning, and up to two other directions you could potentially take, built from your own experience and skills.
That third one is what women worry about, so let me be plain. If your result ends up being “Wait”, this hands you back a year you were about to spend, along with two other doors to try.
You might look at both and want neither. That's allowed. I'd still rather send you off pointing at something that could work for you than leave you standing exactly where you started.
Why I Won't Soften It
I'm Not Researching Your Idea in Order to Sell You Something Else
I do offer a longer program for women who want help building their business afterward. It's a different service with its own price, and you are under no obligation to look at it.
Your answer is researched and written before that ever comes up. It won't get softer because I'd like to keep working with you, and it won't get harsher so I can sell you a fix.
You've probably been sold to by someone who was warm right up until the invoice. That happened to me just last year. I'd rather be useful.
My Story
Beautiful logo. Vistaprint, the thick cardstock ones I paid extra for. For a business that never opened.
My name is Dani and I spent years teaching Bulgarian to American diplomats at the U.S. State Department, a job where getting it right mattered more than being liked. A federal policy change ended the career I expected to retire from, and I lost my health insurance and my home along with it. I was 46, twice divorced, dealing with chronic illness and a body that had stopped cooperating with me years earlier.
So I know the specific fear of picking wrong when you don't feel like you have spare years lying around. I know how convincing an idea can be right up until somebody checks whether anyone will pay for it.
I'd rather tell you the truth in seven days than agree with you for a year.
I Got My Business Idea Based on How Women Resonated With My Content
Where This Came From
I'd already been writing an article on Substack every week about turning what you know into income. Then one of my long-form posts gained traction. It was about having a calling and not knowing how to make money from it, and it outperformed everything I'd written before it. Over 1,300 people liked it. Two hundred and ninety-two left comments, and it wasn't just polite agreement. It was "this is exactly where I am," over and over.
I read every comment. What I found wasn't a shortage of ideas. Almost every woman already had one. What she didn't have was any way to know if it was worth pursuing.
That's the specific question this service answers. Not "how do I make money online" in general but rather: is the idea I've been entertaining lately actually worth my time.
Who This Is For
This is for you if:
You have a business idea and you've been carrying it alone for a while.
You have experience worth money and no idea how to package it.
You'd rather hear the truth than keep guessing.
You can wait seven days for someone to look at it properly.
You want a direction, whichever one it turns out to be.
You'd rather find out now than after you've paid for a website.
When to Wait:
You've already decided and you're looking for someone to agree with you.
You need an answer in two days.
You're expecting a full business plan or a launch strategy.
Nothing about the idea can change.
You need a promise that it will work. I can't give you one, and neither can anyone else.

The first four are priced this way because I don't have testimonials yet, and I'd rather earn them than claim them. In return, I'll ask you for honest feedback afterward, and I may ask if you'd be willing to be an anonymous case study. Both are optional, and neither has any effect on what I actually find and tell you.
After the first four,
the price is $597.
$357
* for the first four women
A four-hour coaching intensive runs $600 and involves no research at all.
An AI report costs $29 and nobody checks its work.
A market research firm starts at $5,000.
For context:
Who This Work Is Built For:
There's a whole industry doing this for startup founders and software companies. Almost nobody is doing it for you.
I don't work with tech founders. I work with women in their forties and fifties who have real experience, limited energy, no team, nobody backing them, and bills arriving on schedule. That changes what counts as a good idea. A plan that needs forty hours a week and six months of runway is a bad plan for you, no matter how well it works for somebody else.
That's the part I'm actually selling. Research done by someone who understands what you're working with.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my idea is still a mess?
Most are. Write down whatever you have. If it's not substantial enough for me to research properly, I'll flag it once I read your form, and point you to the free AI Business Validator to shape it into something specific first. Your spot is already booked and paid for, so nothing about that changes. We just schedule your call for once you're ready.
Why does it take up to seven days?
Because it’s a long process that involves a lot of time reading, comparing, and analyzing. By the end I've worked through hundreds of pages to find the handful of things that change your decision.
What if you tell me to stop?
Then you'll have saved yourself a year, and you'll have up to two other alternative options to look at. I'd rather hand you that in a week than watch you find out the hard way in eighteen months.
Is my idea safe with you?
Yes. Ask for an NDA when you book and I'll send one before we talk.
Your idea stays yours. I won't use it myself and I won't pass it to anyone else. If two women happen to arrive with similar ideas, which does occasionally happen, neither one hears anything about the other.
Their answers wouldn't match anyway. Two women with the same idea have different experience, different resources, different energy, and different people around them. If I tell one of them to wait, the two other directions I hand her are built from her life. They wouldn't fit anyone else.
Do you use AI to do this?
Yes, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. I run the same questions through more than one AI tool, not just one, the same way I'd cross-check a fact across a few different sources rather than trust the first search result.
What none of them do is decide what's true. They disagree with each other more than people expect, and every competitor, price, or claim gets checked against a second and third source before any of it reaches your report. That's the part that actually takes seven days. I also choose which signals matter for your specific idea, which changes every time and no tool does that part for me.
Is the payment refundable?
Once I've started work on your assessment, payments are non-refundable, subject to any consumer rights that apply to your purchase. The terms will spell all of this out before you pay.
Can you validate an idea in healthcare, legal services, or another licensed field?
Yes. The market research works the same regardless of industry, who's already doing it, what they charge, whether people are buying.
What I'm not licensed or qualified to do is tell you whether you meet the certification, permit, or regulatory requirements for that field. If the research turns up something in that territory, I flag it clearly and point you to confirm it with an actual licensed professional. I identify the condition, I don't resolve it.
What happens right after I book?
You'll pick your call time from my calendar as part of booking, before you pay, so your spot is locked in from the start. Once you've paid, you'll get a confirmation email with a link to the questionnaire form to fill out before we talk. Nothing complicated.
You've Carried This Long Enough
Not ready to invest yet? Start with downloading the free AI Business Validator.
A week from now you could know whether the business you've been dreaming about is worth pursuing, and what your actual next step is.
Right now you're guessing. Guessing is expensive, and it usually waits a year before it sends the bill.
Limited to four spots a month. If there's no availability this month, you can join the waitlist for the next opening.
